Shain's Of Maine: Exceptional Ice Cream & Lobster Rolls in Sanford, ME

Hot lobster roll was very tasty. They have hot & cold lobster rolls. Chowder was flavorful with adequate number of clams. Lobster roll was competitive volume of meat for the price. Would recommend.

Ordering was a breeze, and I got my food quickly. Everything was warm and incredibly tasty. I also really appreciated the reasonable prices. Feel free to ignore the picture—while the lobster roll was even larger, I couldn't wait, and it turned out to be fantastic.

This place is a must! We love the lobster rolls, Mac & Cheese bites and the Clam Chowder. Oh, don’t forget the ICE CREAM!! They have so many ice cream options and we’ve loved the flavors we gotten! One hint! Get there early because the place gets busy!!

Everything is great, prices are good and ice cream is nice. The lobster rolls are probably the fairest price I’ve ever seen. I’ve been going here my whole life. It’s incredibly tacky for a business to have ai art on the wall though. I hope the take it down, it only detracts from the atmosphere and it doesn’t even make sense.

Very cool place with good food, super low prices and fantastic ice cream. We had fried haddock sandwich, hot dog, chili fries and haddock dippers. Less than $30 and food was very good. Topped it was some of the creamiest ice cream ever. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place for excellent food! Casual and relaxed place with patron friendly prices and excellent portions. Their ice cream is amazing too! We love going here often! PS! Be aware they do not serve hamburgers or cheese burgers.

Shains was so busy! The food is delicious. My son got the lobster roll. He said it was so delicious his eyes rolled back while he was eating it. The chicken and fries were great also. We also had delicious strawberry shakes. It was all very good. The hot dog man was wicked cool. My son said if you go to Maine you gotta go to Shains of Maine. Its worth your time!
